Interceptor is a development stage company, established in February 2000 for the purpose of preventing drunk driving via electronic detection with the use of breath alcohol ignition interlock equipment.  This device is connected to a vehicle’s ignition and requires a non-alcoholic breath sample from the driver in order for the vehicle to start, and conducts random rolling retests, allowing the operator to continue driving. By combining innovative cutting edge technology with exclusive features and services, the Company has patented the Interceptor Ignition Interlock product line, whose features include positive identification of the driver via a photograph, instant data downloading to probation officers via the internet (as vehicle events occur), Global Positioning vehicle tracking (GPS), and police interception of a vehicle during a violation, the combination of which have never before been available on an interlock device.
