Headquartered in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, Codonics designs, manufactures, sells and supports medical imaging and information management devices. Our radiology and operating room centric products can be found in thousands of hospitals and imaging centers worldwide. Codonics is an engineering focused company that uses cutting edge technology to design and build innovative, world-class medical devices. Our award winning products and business practices have recently been recognized at the local and national level…we are making a difference.

Philosophy:

The electrical engineering group at Codonics is a multidisciplinary entity that is involved in a broad range of product design disciplines. Work is primarily focused on electronics design and integration. However, EEs are often required to aid or guide mechanical and software design efforts and to provide system-level architectural design and integration. Electrical Engineering is often called upon to provide system-level debugging of complex electrical, mechanical, and software-based embedded systems. The electrical engineering group is also heavily tasked with ongoing product support through management of obsolescence. As a part of electronics design, the electrical engineering group is typically tasked to write any low-level firmware as well as code for programmable logic devices when these are required.
