Position: Account Manager Business Development To OEM’s & Tier 1 Automotive companies for Plastics Business Unit Novi Michigan
An exciting opportunity has become available within our Client Companies organization for an Account Manager, Business Development Manager of p
roducts including aluminum engine systems and plastic components to OEM’s and Tier 1 suppliers Automotive Companies.
Your account management responsibilities will include: activities include engineering and sales.
Products include aluminum engine systems and plastic components
to OEM’s and Tier 1 suppliers.
You, the Account Manager will report to the Sales Manager in Novi
Our Client Company requires Account managers to have a BS in Engineering with at least 4 + years’ experience working with sales of similar products to OEM, s and Tier 1 automotive customers.
Our Client company develops and produces aluminum and die-cast products along with aluminum gravity casting. Applications are: vehicles engines, transmission and structural components.
This division also handles complex assemblies and functional testing as required.
As a group, they offer the automotive industry – and other sectors – a sophisticated range of products and services. We are both a development partner and full-service supplier capable of producing aluminum or plastic series products to specified requirements.
These capabilities place us amongst a few companies capable of supplying hybrid solutions in plastic and aluminum.
Today, with over 7,000 employees, 10 production facilities, and multiple sales and engineering development offices in USA, Mexico, Germany and Japan, the group offers its customers a global network.
BS in Engineering Degree also with at least 4 + years’ experience in Sales and or Business Development with similar products to OEM’s, Tier 1 Automotive companies.

Key responsible of relationship with customer.
Prospection with customers.
Responsible of sales of replacement and new business based on Account (s) goals defined.
To ensure Account growth.
Commercial Discounts responsible.
Commercial and technical presentations leader.
Responsible of Account annual sales budget.
Vendor Tooling negotiation.
Company capabilities presentation.
Account cost workshops leader.
Responsible to organize tech shows with customer.
New projects performance co-responsible.
Account / Projects capital investment analysis.
Internal account presentations.
Wide knowledge on the Auto industry
Manufacturing concepts for plastics injection.
Concepts on plastics products.
English, Spanish is a plus.
Availability to travel a few times during the year.
