Your unique role with us: The ideal candidate for the Audio-Visual Systems Programmer position would work directly with the Sr. Audio-Visual Systems Programmer to develop customized programs for multivendor control systems and DSPs, with a focus on Crestron Programming. Along with Programming, this position requires the ability to follow internal design, troubleshoot, service and commission a range of different systems at a high level. This is a customer facing position and as such requires professionalism and excellent verbal / written communication skills.
  • Provide support and mentoring to the Junior Programmers on the team.
  • Work with the design team to make changes as needed on high and low level designs, as well as as-built documentation.
  • Work with the presales staff to help with discovery and design consultation with customers and partners
  • Motivated to train, learn, and achieve industry certifications.
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions while communicating back to the Integration and Engineering teams.
Location Information:
  • St. Louis, MO (within 75 miles of the main office)

  • Frequent local travel to customer sites with 10% Travel Nationwide.
What we are looking for: Support’s the company’s mission, vision and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence and competence, teamwork, innovation, respect, personalization and accountability.  Position will require extensive travel to customer locations and/or remote work.  The position is intended as a A/V Programming Engineer.

Core Technical Skills: (Must Have Most):  The appropriate candidate will have extensive, recent, hands-on experience with the following minimum products/technologies. Experience must include solution design, programming, commissioning, consultation, implementation, migration, administration, and troubleshooting either independently or as a team lead.  Candidate must be comfortable and enthusiastic engaging directly with end users as well as business leadership.
  • 2-3 years of Crestron Programming experience, as well as an understanding of Extron, AMX, and DSP Programming (QSC, BSS, Biamp).
  • Program and configure AV equipment such as media control systems (Crestron/Extron/AMX), DSP’s, matrix mixers and switchers, videoconferencing codecs (Cisco/Polycom).
  • Pre-programming/setup as well as onsite commissioning of control systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose programming flaws/service issues and make changes as needed.
  • Familiarity in installing and commissioning integrated control and distribution systems, including Crestron, AMX, and Extron
  • Deliver knowledge transfer to customers for final sign-off of installation
Certifications (one of more preferred):
  • InfoComm CTS
  • Crestron DMC-E-4K, DMC-D-4K
  • Certified Crestron Programmer (at least to CTI-P201 “Intermediate Crestron Programming”)
  • Extron Authorized Programmer
