Maintenance Technician
Salary up to $28/hr. PLUS Great Benefits & Paid Relocation to Oregon
This growing manufacturing company needs a Maintenance Technician who can maintain and repair all processing and packaging equipment as well as facilities.  You’ll handle the preventative maintenance as scheduled & repairs as needed.  Your main goal is to increase machine uptime!
You’ll help meet this goal by troubleshooting and making timely and effective repairs on the mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.  You have a great team working with you and you will use your collective skills to decrease downtime.  Other responsibilities include:
  • Order repair parts and materials from equipment manuals and catalogs
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance as scheduled & document status of work orders
  • Maintain work areas & tools for maximum efficiency
  • Work with production department concerning product safety & quality
  • Help maintain a positive and safe work environment
  • Participate in all safety programs, meetings, & training such as lock out/tag out, confined space entry, PSM/PHA, MSDS for material used in maintenance activities, and safety meetings.

Minimum Requirements for this Maintenance Technician position:
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, i.e. GED
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills are required
  • Demonstrated mechanical skills including gear boxes, bearings, chains, basic electrical and basis machining
  • Knowledge of PLC’s and how they function preferred
  • Experience with case erectors, dairy industry, mixers, freezers preferred
  • Experience with Ammonia safety and basic operations preferred
