We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Signal Integrity Engineer to analyze, characterize, design, and model high-speed cables, connectors, and systems.  As a key senior level engineer on the development team, you will act as a focal point in providing technical leadership and work with customers to develop application-specific solutions and provide technical support to those customers along with the design, production, & quality teams.

The ideal candidate has a PhD or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, or Physics with at least 10 years of experience in Signal Integrity design & simulation of high-speed cables, connectors, and systems.  We are interested in your abilities to lead a technical team in new developments as well as mentor junior engineers and your ability to interact with clients.  We’d love to see your portfolio of products developed, DOE’s, test & simulation methods, and tools you’ve used or created to enhance your technical contribution in the field of Signal Integrity & of high-speed cables, connectors, and systems.  
The minimum acceptable credentials for this Senior Level Signal Integrity Engineering position are a BS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, or Physics with at least 4 years’ of experience in Signal Integrity design & simulation & 3 years’ using Ansys HFSS modeling or similar tool that creates mode-to-measurement correlation, connector design, and validation.
Range of Salary $80,000 - $100,000 PLUS Excellent Benefits & Paid Relocation to One of 3 Great Locations in the USA
For this Senior Signal Integrity Engineering position, a qualified candidate should have the following and be able to demonstrate skills & abilities in their repertoire:
  • Technical Team leadership
  • Communications system and hardware engineering experience
  • Knowledge of Software CST, Agilent ADS & PLTS, Matlab
  • Test and Measurement using VNA, TDR
  • Standards committee participation
  • Ability to mentor
  • Technical papers published, white papers, thesis
The core functions & daily responsibilities for our Signal Integrity Engineer will include discovering and inventing new techniques and methods in modeling, design, and measurement and recommending changes in designs or technical procedures.  Perform high-speed empirical and analytical signal integrity evaluations of interconnects.  Work in laboratory environment to validate design and correlate measurement with simulations using VNA, TDR and Oscilloscope.  Provide development input to design teams, create electrical product models and documentation.
Analyze variation dependence and parametric optimization.  Guide the activities of multifunctional teams on developing major new products.
