Applications Engineer Job in Austin Texas (TX)

Essential Functions:
Designs interface examples of how various audio products connected in a system.
Designs and debugs demonstration and evaluation boards.
Designs characterization test suite to do an automated validation test system.
Supports design, systems and test engineering in IC verification.
Provides technical assistance to customers, sales, marketing and field application engineers.
Actively works with customers on design activities.
Develops internal and customer documentation including application notes and white papers.

Strong knowledge on audio system design, testing and measurement.
Strong knowledge on analog (amplifier, filter) and digital circuit analysis skills.
Strong knowledge on laboratory equipment and measurement techniques (spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, signal generator, DMM, logic analyzer, and network analyzer).
Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and debug systems, circuits, and devices
