Position Description:
Improve various III-V wafer Fab processes for manufacturability and yield improvement
Develop and improve high power laser test and metrology steps for yield screening and cost reduction
Conduct data analysis, FMA, and SPC review for continuous design and process improvement
Review Process/product yield, propose and implement yield improvement measures
Design, develop and qualify wafer fabrication processes
Develop and integrate processes for new product introductions
Document processes and train production personnel when needed
Cricital Skills:
The successful candidate will have a MS/PhD degree in materials science, electrical engineering, physics or equivalent and 3+ years of experience in semiconductor processes
Strong problem solving, project management, teamwork and communications skills are essential for success in this position.
Knowledge of Laser Diodes and Photo Diodes fabrication and packaging processes is an asset.
Fast Learner and capable of efficient technology integration (software and hardware).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Hands-on experience in implementing and facilitating lean-manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.
