We are currently looking for an engineer and/or Engineering Technician with a background in Scanning Acoustic Microscopy (acoustic C-scan) for our independent lab that provides failure analysis and reliability testing services for microelectronic industries.

The ideal candidate will bring with them:
1-3+Yrs. or more with Scanning Acoustic Microscopy/Acoustic C-scan.
Ideally, experience with either SONIX or SONOSCAN instrumentation.
Background with Microelectronic FA, working with packaging, flip-chip Air Gap Defects/Defect identification and locating.
Candidates must have a BSEE or an equivalent background.
Any other hands on experience with curve tracers, microprobe, fault-finding techniques, IC de-processing, and electron microscopes is desired.
IC fabrication, IC test and a device physics background are beneficial.
