DescriptionSenior Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineer to attainin military airworthiness for the aircraft. Successful candidates will have experience as an IPT lead, as well as developing a comprehensive T&E plan.
Job Duties:
Develop a T & E program to measure progress against plan and mitigate risks. Determine the resource requirements over time to ensure low-risk execution.
Coordinate with the government customer and participate with prime contractor, support contractors, and other government agencies involved to complete all aspects of the Integrated Testing. Manage subcontractors in contributing to the development and execution of the program T&E plan.
Implement management processes and procedure to ensure flow of requisite information across subcontractors and program IPTs.
Interface with other functional managers to ensure seamless transitions from technical definition and prototyping through production phases of modifications, including retrofit.
Support development of engineering procedures and controls, participate in management of test project efforts, and assist with problem resolution.
Education/Qualifications:
MS in Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics or Physical Sciences or a related field preferred, or BS is required.
Ten or more years of related experience with aircraft systems, rotory wing experience is highly preferred.
Experience with T&E of large, multi-organization programs. Comprehensive test planning and analysis experience. At least five (5)years experience as an Integrated Project Team (IPT) leader performing test engineering or management functions.
