Job Description
-Work with key customers in assigned areas to determine or create technical approaches to satisfy market needs.
-Use expertise and creativity for innovative product recommendations and solutions.
-Use acquired professional knowledge to perform competitive analysis.
-Initiate informal reviews of ideas and technical objectives within and across business units.
-Represent the Company by communicating technical business capabilities and strategies externally.
-Is viewed as a technical resource by peers in the same organization.
-Use expertise and creativity for innovative product recommendation and solutions.
-Validate silicon design and prototypes
-Emulate architectural approaches
Requirements:
-BSEE with 5 years Hands-On experience designing or supporting products for power factor correction, power supply or motor control applications. MSEE preferred.
-Experience in the following areas:
-AC/DC Offline (Wide Ranging Input),
-PFC,
-High Efficiency
-Digital Control
-Common power supply architectures
-Power component technologies
-Magnetic theory & design
-Loop stability
-EMC & safety requirements
-Ability to apply new technology creatively and independently within the bounds of business objectives.
-Knowledge of design support and simulation techniques and tools.
-Test bench experience required
-Excellent verbal and professional presentation skills.
